Sleeping Gorilla Moonlit Nest - Paint by Numbers Kit

A gorilla lies curled in a nest of bent branches, head on folded arms, eyes closed, and the whole forest around it seems to be keeping quiet. His dark body reads as one rounded mass among broad, glossy leaves. That makes this Bwindi Impenetrable National Park scene a calm, satisfying painting to build up patch by patch.

The palette is cobalt, indigo and deep jungle green. Silvery moonlight edges the foliage in cool blue-white, and the far trees fade into violet-black. Two waterfalls glow faintly in the distance beyond a full moon hanging in a cloud-streaked sky. The blended shapes in the fur and leaves let you build soft gradients without fussing over fine detail, so the kit works for beginners and for hobbyists who like moody night scenes.

A pre-printed numbered canvas guides each stage, from the dark bulk of the gorilla to the lit edges of the leaves. It also makes a thoughtful gift for wildlife lovers and anyone dreaming of Uganda's misty mountain forests. Pick up your brush and tuck this sleeper into his moonlit bed.
