Bwindi Mountain Gorilla Poster - Paint by Numbers Kit

One dark, broad-shouldered gorilla fills the left side of this retro poster. He looks out over the ridges of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, and his heavy brow gives him a calm, watchful air. Above him, the word BWINDI arches across the cream sky in chunky deep-red capitals, like a vintage travel print for a trip few people ever get to take.

The palette is small and confident: forest green, cream and a single bold red. Three flat bands of teal-green ridges recede behind the gorilla, and one pale stripe of mist drifts between them. Bright, leafy foliage fills the foreground, and the silhouettes of rainforest canopy trees stand on the slopes. Large, clean color areas make this a relaxed, satisfying painting for beginners. Hobbyists who like graphic, poster-style work will enjoy the crisp edges and the lettering.

It also suits anyone who loves national parks, wildlife art or Uganda, and it makes a thoughtful gift for a gorilla fan. Once it is finished, the poster will look good in a study, a den or a nature-themed nursery. Pick up your brush and bring the misty Bwindi hills to your wall.
