Bwindi Gorilla Portrait - Paint by Numbers Kit

A silverback's deep-set brown eyes look out from under a heavy brow, and that steady, thoughtful gaze is what holds this painting together. The face fills nearly the whole frame as one sculpted mass, with graduated slate, charcoal and soft grey tones and a broad black muzzle. A russet crown of fur adds the only warm note.

Behind the gorilla, the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda melts into a single blurred band of muted greens. Soft, even daylight keeps the mood calm and the palette cool. The large shapes and smooth tonal blending make the fur satisfying to build up, block by block. Working from the numbered reference sheet, you shift from pale grey highlights on the cheeks to the darkest shadows around the nostrils.

The kit suits hobbyists who like moody animal portraits, beginners ready for a bold subject, and anyone shopping for a wildlife or national park lover. Pick up your brush and see how much character a few shades of grey can hold.
