Bwindi Forest Waterfall - Paint by Numbers Kit

One tall ribbon of white water drops between two mossy boulders and lands in a flat teal pool. That is the heart of this Bwindi Impenetrable National Park scene. The dark basalt walls behind the fall are furred in emerald and lime moss, and the spray at the base fades into slate-blue mist.

Broad fern fronds crowd the foreground in layered greens, and the tall conifers in the distance dissolve into cool, overcast haze. The palette stays in deep forest greens, slate-blues and muted whites. The soft light gives the whole canvas a hushed, rain-fresh mood. Painting the falling water means moving from crisp white to pale blue-grey, while the moss calls for a slow build from olive to bright chartreuse.

The large, readable shapes suit beginners, and the gradients in the rock and water give experienced hobbyists something to enjoy. It also makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Uganda's national parks or wild green places. Pick up your brush and follow the water down to the pool.
